I have always considered myself an artist. And I’m not certain why I’m a writer at this stage of my life but I’m excited to have arrived. I’m sure you have heard this before, so I apologize for not developing something more original for my introduction.
That said, if I had it to do all over, I would have been an artist from a young age. An unappreciated dancer or musician might have been cool. I have always loved dance. The way ballerinas perform a Pas de Quatre routine in Swan Lake is perfection. It almost makes me cry every time I see it. And a piano or violin concerto when played by a master seems surreal. It would have been glorious to learn to play either or both.
